I'M STILL HERE    SOBER & SANE

The pandemic is over.  The world has righted itself a bit....yet politically, things are a mess.  I have managed to make it through dark times, and I have allowed myself to appreciate the good times and fortune that has come my way.  I feel truly blessed.  I have my own small business, have a wonderful partner in my life for 23 years, I am 37 years sober, I am managing my emotions a lot better, and my health is good.  I exercise daily. I don't smoke and try to stay clear of sugary foods,. I do not drink energy drinks any longer.  I am propping my bones up with Evenity shots for a year, as my bone density has decreased over the last 5 years.  I started working for a church and eventually joined that church with my partner.  I still have the Prayer group I started at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.  I guess you could say that I am counting my blessings, as I have many.  I try to Live and Let Live, Let Go and Let God, Mind My Own Business, Be Kind to Others, Be Grateful at all times.  I have learned that helping others helps myself.  Life is good...it isn't perfect....but I always seek to know the difference of those things that I can and cannot change.  And Acceptance is the answer to all my problems.  I have a God of my understanding and am a Christian.  Amen to All.
